The 7 Most costly things in the world (Price comparison)-01

Have you ever think about (or) wondered what the most expensive things in the world? Are you might not be able to afford them. But when people are earning billions of dollars, it’s difficult to understand what these billionaires spend their money on.

But some things are so costly that even the wealthiest person in the world can’t afford it! What is it? Well, you gotta stick around, because we will find that out in this blog post.

Hey friends, welcome to another interesting blog post. Before we start, give your share and support our website in social media. Let us try to involve others in reading habit. Because reader’s are leaders.

And now, lets get started with the least expensive thing on our list.

BUGATTI LA VOITURE NOIRE

Its the world’s most expensive car that was sold for 19 million dollars back in 2019. The vehicle is custom made.

And only one was ever built. While everyone else drives cars that are common in the streets, there isn’t a second such a car in the world.

Probably that’s why it costs 19 million dollars. With that price tag, you can buy 46 Lamborghini Aventador, 64 Ferrari f8 tribute.

For god’s sake, you can buy a private jet for such money. But some people are so wealthy that they don’t mind spending 19 million dollars for a single-car.

Such as former chairman of the Volkswagen Group Ferdinand Piech who purchased the car. With a net worth of 1 billion dollars, I don’t think it was a difficult decision for him.

Especially since he passed away the same year.

1963 FERRARI 250 GTO

At number 2. We have the most expensive vintage car - 1963 Ferrari 250 GTO.

If a 19 million dollar price tag seems too expensive for you. Then you haven’t seen the price of this vintage Ferrari. In the last few decades, the price of vintage cars has been rising dramatically as the demand for them skyrocketed.

The car has quite a history. In may 2012, it was sold for 35 million dollars to an American businessman. 2 years later, he sold it at an auction to Carlos Monteverde for 38.1 million dollars.

Carlos didn’t purchase the car, just like that. He realized the trend. He knew that sometime in the future, he would be able to sell the car at a much higher price.

Meanwhile, he can enjoy driving it. Which is exactly what happened. 4 years later, he sold it to David Macneil for 70 million dollars.

We will have to wait and see ow much the next owner is going to pay for such beauty. But enough about cars,

let’s talk abut something more expensive. How about the most expensive jewelry in the world.

THE HOPE DIAMOND

It’s one of the most famous jewels in the world with ownership records dating back almost four centuries.

The jewelry is believed to have originated in India, where the original stone was purchased in 1666 by a French merchant.

The merchant sold it to King Louis 14th in 1668. but unfortunately, it was stolen in 1781. and decades later appeared in the hand of a London banking family called Hope in 1839.

Since then, the jewellery changed hands multiple times and now priced at 350 million dollars. It’s insane how this jewel survived four centuries.

That’s not the only expensive thing that’s originated in India, the most expensive house in the world currently located in bombay, India. That goes by the name.

ANTILIA

Its owned by India’s wealthier person and 5th richest person in the world, according to Forbes.

Its 173 meters long and has 27 stories with amenities such as three helipads, a 168-car garage, a ballroom, 80-seat theater, terrace gardens, a spa, and a temple, its a skyscraper-mansion.

Its controversial design and ostentatious use by a single family has made it infamous in India, and beyond, it symbolizes the extreme inequality in the country.

The most expensive private home in the world in the middle of an impoverished neighborhood. The house consists of over 400k square feet.

That is so huge that it needs 600 stuff members to maintain it. There is an entire floor for servicing the luxury cars that Mukesh owns.

Antilia is truly an architectural marvel. It took the construction firms seven years to complete the project. Despite its enormous price tag, it’s still cheaper than a single B-2 Spirit

B-2 SPIRIT

It is an American heavy strategic bomber that features low observable stealth technology designed for penetrating dense anti-aircraft defenses.

Development started during the Carter administration; the project continued during the Reagan administration.

But worries about delays in its introduction led to the reinstatement of the B-1 program. Program costs rose throughout development. The total cost of the program equaled 44.75 billion dollars by 2004, and single aircraft cost 2.1 billion dollars.

Initially, the Pentagon was planning to purchase 132 of them, however, since the Soviet Union collapsed.

The tension between the two countries decreased, so there wasn’t the need for so many of them, and the number of orders dropped to just 21.

The B-2 was designed using a technique known as “continuous curvature.” the surface is designed to deflect radar. Its basically makes it invisible to radars.

The aircraft is so expensive that it costs 135k an hour to operate. The plane is designed in such a way that it has all the amenities of an average home from a bed, a toilet, and hot plate to prepare food.

It allows the pilots to properly rest before taking an important mission. Everything that flies is in some way expensive, or at least floats in the space , including hubble space telescope.

HUBBLE SPACE TELESCOPE

It is a space telescope that was launched into low earth orbit in 1990 and remained in operation. It was not the first space telescope, but it is the largest and most versatile, well-known as a vital research tool and a public relations boom for astronomy.

The Hubble telescope is named after astronomer Edwin Hubble. Hubble orbits outside the distortion of earth’s atmosphere allows it to capture extremely high-resolution images with substantially lower background light than ground-based telescopes.

It has recorded some of the most detailed visible-light images, allowing an in-depth view into space. Many Hubble observations have led to breakthroughs in astrophysics, such a determining the rate of expansion of the universe.

The Hubble telescope was built by the United States space agency NASA with contributions from the European Space Agency and launched in 1990. the project was delayed multiple time due to cost issues since it constantly rose; when completed, the final price tag was 2.1 billion dollars by 2019 dollars.

Enough about space lets get back to earth and find out something that’s more expensive than the Hubble telescope.

You just have to take a look at the most expensive yacht in the world. History supreme

HISTORY SUPREME

It seems like anything that has the name supreme on it suddenly becomes super expensive. Remember the supreme brick joke?

It’s not the biggest yacht in the world because that title belongs to Azzam, which is 590 feet long and worth 600 million dollars.

Then what makes this yacht so expensive. Why a Malaysian businessman paid 4.8 billion dollars for this yacht? Besides the fact that it has an outstanding design, its mad out completely out of gold.

The yacht consists of 100 thousand kilograms of gold. Usually, people buy gold measured in dozens of grams, but this billionaire got himself a huge yacht that’s made of gold.

That’s probably the only reason why it costs almost 5 billion dollars. But do you know what’s more expensive than this yacht? Abraj Al-Bait

ABRAJ AL-BAIT

Its a complex of seven skyscraper hotels in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. The central hotel tower, the Makkah Royal Clock Tower, has the world’s largest clock face and is the third-tallest building.

And fifth-tallest freestanding structure in the world with a height of 601 meters. The clock tower contains the clock tower museum that occupies the top four floors of the tower.

It is the world’s most expensive building, with the total cost of construction totaling U.S $ 15 billion.

Currently, the tallest building in the world is Burj Khalifa that was built for 1.5 billion dollars. This means Abraj Al-Bait is ten times more expensive than the tallest building in the world.

Finally, it’s time to find out the most expensive object ever built. The international space station.

THE INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION

Probably the best project humanity has ever developed since all major powers despite their differences came together to build this station.

Including the U.S.A, Russia, Europe, Canada, and Japan. It is an international collaborative effort between multiple countries. The ownership and use of the space station is established by intergovernmental treaties and agreements.

The I.S.S serves as a micro-gravity and space environment research laboratory in which scientific experiments are conducted in astro biology, astronomy, meterology, physics, and other fields.

The station is suited for testing the spacecraft systems and equipment required for possible future long-duration missions to the moon and mars.

It is the largest artificial object in space and the largest satellite in low earth orbit, regularly visible to the naked eye from earth’s surface.

The international space station was lauched 21 years ago in 1998. and amounted 150 billion dollars. And that’s your list of the most expensive things in the world.
